Google Phasing Out Support for Android Developer Tools in Eclipse

Google has announced that it will stop development for and support of Android Development Tools (ADT) in Eclipse by the end of this year. “If you have not had the chance to migrate your projects to Android Studio, now is the time,” the company said in a blog post.

Developers can still continue using the ADT plug-in for Eclipse to build apps, but Google does not plan to issue any updates for the toolset. It released Android Studio in December 2014. Android Studio can import projects from ADT.
