Google is offering a Udacity course called “Developing Android Apps: Android Fundamentals.” Led by Google Developer Advocates Reto Meier, Dan Galpin and Katherine Kuan, the course provides a step-by-step guide to creating your first Android app. It is designed for people who might be new to mobile development but have some development experience.

In order to enroll in the full course, which includes feedback and coaching from the instructors, you must be a Udacity subscriber, which costs $150 per month. However, the course itself is free, and anyone can access the course materials for free, even if they are not members of Udacity. At the time of writing, the course was full, but the free materials were still available for download.
