Google Launches Technology Preview of Dart for Chromium

As part of its efforts to encourage developers to switch from JavaScript to Dart, Google is offering a technology preview of "Dartium," the Dart VM for Chromium. Eventually, Google hopes to incorporate the technology into its Chrome browser, but only "after more testing and developer feedback."

For now, Google is offering Dartium downloads for OS X or Linux only (no Windows). The company warns that Dartium should not be used for regular, day-to-day browsing.
