Google Launches Android Training Program
In an attempt to entice more mobile developers to create apps for Android, Google has launched a new beta service called "Android Training." The new site offers a series of courses featuring Android-related articles, tutorials, sample code and other resources -- all free of charge. Topics covered include monetizing an app, optimizing a device's battery life, developing apps for an enterprise and more.
The team plans to add additional mobile development courses and materials in the near future.
