A new report from Freelancer.com holds good news for the mobile development industry. In the second quarter, employers posted 5,112 new jobs for iOS development and 3,444 new jobs for Android development. Development-related job skills that showed the biggest increase in demand included Objective C (3), User Interface/ IA (4), mobile phone (5), iPhone (6), iPad (7), C Programming (8), Android (9), HTML5 (10), jQuery/Prototype (13) and software architecture (16). The biggest decliners included .NET, C# Programming , C++ Programming and PHP.

Employers posted a total of 189,917 jobs on Freelancer.com in the second quarter.
