Dell has said that it will no longer sell Android-based tablets and instead will focus on Windows-based 2-in-1 devices. “The slate tablet market is over-saturated and is experiencing declining demand from consumers, so we’ve decided to discontinue the Android-based Venue tablet line,” a Dell spokesman said.

The company says that it will continue to provide warranty and support services to existing Dell Venue tablet owners, but it will not be pushing out operating system updates to those devices. That means Venue tablets will not get the upcoming Android N release.

In related news, Google announced that the official name for Android N will be Nougat.
