Blender Wins 2010 Open Source Graphics Software Award
Blender beat out Gimp for the 2010 Open Source Graphics Software Award.
This is the first year the award has been offered.
Ton Roosendaal, the creator of Blender, said, "With an exciting forthcoming year, we will invest the prize fund in to a dedicated server for a wiki, a better design for blender.org itself, and upgrading our back-end for software projects and bug tracking."
