The First GNOME 3.0 Development Release is Here
GNOME 3.0 isn't scheduled to be finished until March 2011, but now we have the first development release of the next generation GNOME.
Michael Larabel at Phoronix has the story.
"Lucas Rocha has announced GNOME 2.91.1, which is the first of several development snapshots leading up to the final GNOME 3.0 release next year. This is only the first development release so there's still bugs and lots of work to be tackled," Larabel said.
