Survey Says Developers Prefer Google's Android Over Apple's iOS
Appcelerator and IDC released a survey this week showing the software developers prefer Google's Android operating system over Apple's iOS long-term.
The survey was conducted between September 14-16 and included nearly 2,400 application developers worldwide.
"The Appcelerator-IDC Q4 Mobile Developer Report shows that Appcelerator Titanium developers favor Android over iOS in TVs and other embedded devices," according to the press release.
"Now 58.6% of respondents in our new survey believe Android has a better long-term outlook over iOS (34.9%)," the survey said.
