PlayStation Phone Running Open Source Android 3
There have been rumors circulating that Sony is going to start selling a PlayStation smartphone, but now Engadget says they have the scoop.
According to Joshua Topolsky, in October, Sony Ericsson will introduce a smartphone running Android 3.0. Topolsky said that a trusted source has told Engadget that it will be a cross between Samsung Captivate and the PSP Go.
It will have a landscape slider with game controls in place of the typical Qwerty keyboard, and rather than a joystick, there will be a "long touch pad" for analog controls.
You can see a mockup of the device here.
