Firefox: We're Huge in Europe
According to data by StatCounter, Firefox could pass Internet Explorer as the most popular Web browser in Europe this month.
In July, 40.89 percent of European users surfed with IE and 39.47 percent used the open source Firefox browser.
In Germany, more than 60 percent used Firefox with only 25 percent running IE.
Back in January 2009, more than 50 percent of Europeans were IE users, now it appears that Firefox will overtake IE in August while Google's Chrome is gaining ground fast - now at more than 10 percent.
