VideoLAN VLC 1.1.1 Released Today

It was only a month ago that VideoLAN released their version 1.1 open source VLC media player, and now we have the first point release - version 1.1.1.

This might be a minor release, but after 17 million downloads, there have been a lot of bugs found and fixed.

There's improved HD and audio. It's faster, lighter and the Web features, such as plugins and encoding/decoding WebM, got tweaked too.
