Growth Exploded for Nuxeo in 2009
Open source enterprise content management company Nuxeo tripled its subscribers and saw a 285 percent growth in revenue in 2009.
"This validates the company's strategy to deliver an open source ECM platform as a foundation for content applications," the press release said.
Nuxeo has been around for two decades, but only recently expanded its operations to North America, which accounts for much of its growth in 2009.
The company successfully sold service, support and subscriptions while leveraging the power of open source to expand its product line.
"For example, Nuxeo added support for OpenSocial through the contributions of one of its larger customers Leroy Merlin with the Nuxeo DM 5.3 release in October 2009."
