The Mozilla team has fixed several bugs with the newest release of Firefox version 3.5.7.

The biggest problem was an issue with HTTP proxies introduced in the previous version of the open source Web browser.

The H reports that by “closing a vulnerability (NTLM replay attack) in connection with authentication, version 3.5.6 of Firefox refused to work with proxy servers that support NTLM authentication. The problem prevented some users on corporate networks from accessing the internet.”

Mozilla also released a new version of the Firefox 3.0 Web browser.
