Firefox 3.6 To Be Released Next Year
The final release of the popular open source Web browser Firefox will not ship until next year.
Team Firefox had planned to release the much anticipated version 3.6 in November of this year to coincide with the Windows 7 launch, according to Softpedia's Marius Oiaga.
"We expect to be able to issue a release candidate before the end of this year," Director of Mike Beltzner told ComputerWorld, "but we'll likely hold off on the official release until early in the new year."
