Linux Nibbles Away at Microsoft Market Share
According to ABI Research, Linux has 32 percent of the netbook market and they predict complete Linux domination in three years.
However, as ZDNet's Robin Harris points out in his column today, Microsoft claims that 93 percent of all small notebook PCs worldwide are running Windows. "They can't both be right."
Harris, with more than a tinge of snark, details just how he thinks Microsoft can believe its 93 percent market share number while ABI Research is publishing conflicting data.
