Boxee Gets a Boxee Box
Boxee is open source software that turns your computer or AppleTV into an internet-connected movie and TV jukebox. Now it has a Boxee Box too.
"With the new Boxee Box, the project is ready to stop being just a home-borrowing hermit crab and to move into its own new shell," reports Wired.com.
Last night in Brooklyn, Boxee held a special event to kick off Boxee Beta. Boxee Beta, according to Wired.com, is the "publicly available update to the previously invite-only software."
Wired's Eliot Van Buskirk was at the event, and you can read all about the new Boxee features here.
The new Boxee Box enclosure is made by D-Link.
