Acer to Build the First Google Chrome Laptop
According to story on Digitimes, Acer Chairman JT Wang said they would be the first to sell a laptop with Google's Chrome OS installed.
This isn't the first time Acer has built a laptop with a Google operating system. They were the first to sell a Google Android-based computer.
Despite less-than-enthusiastic demand for the Android laptop, Acer has been developing the Chrome-based product since mid-2009, according to Digitimes.
Wang told Digitimes that Acer plans to start selling the new Google-powered laptops in the second half of 2010.
