13 Lines of Code Boosts Intel Sandy Bridge Performance
According to Phoronix, a 13-line Git commit to the Mesa mainline dramatically boosts Sandy Bridge Linux performance.
Michael Larabel reports that it's this Git commit on March 1 by Intel's Zou Nan hai that made all of the difference.
"It is a relatively straightforward and simple patch," Larabel said, "but how it affects the OpenGL performance is dramatic."
